Ballina have qualified for another County Final thanks to a battling performance and a narrow win over JK Brackens in the County U-19 "A" Football Championship semi-final on Sunday last 14th Nov. This was a low scoring affair & Ballina led 1-2 to 0-2 at half-time. Ballina were on top for much of the second-half to build-up a 1-7 to 0-4 lead. A late JK Brackens goal, was not enough to deny Ballina passage to the final. Final score: Ballina 1-7, JK Brackens 1-4.

U17FC:
Ballina minor footballers lost to Newport in the North Tipperary U17A Final last Wednesday in Knockshegowna, final score 1 – 08 to 3 – 10. Congratulations to Newport. We now await fixture details for a County quarterfinal.
